Audley Group, the UK’s leading provider of luxury retirement villages, today announces it has signed a legal agreement with Chiltern District Council’s Planning Committee for an extension to Audley Chalfont Dene.

The Section 106 Agreement, which is attached to the planning application, means that construction can now commence on the third phase, which will see the addition of a further 58 new units and a village hall. Property prices in the new phase will start at £625,000, and the first 14 have just been released. These properties, all two bedroom, two bathroom apartments with a private balcony or terrace, will be completed in December 2019, while the remaining units will complete in Autumn 2020.

Audley Chalfont Dene is currently home to 84 luxury properties as well as the Audley Club, situated in Chalfont House, all of which have been developed to reflect the traditional Arts and Crafts character of the Chilterns. Owners and members of the local community can enjoy the luxury facilities at the Audley Club, including a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gym and spa.

Kevin Shaw, Managing Director, Audley Group, said: “This approval is testament to the quality of the Audley Villages product and to our planning team. We sought permission to build additional units at Audley Chalfont Dene because of the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve had since the village was first built; the first two phases are now completely sold out. We look forward to enabling more people to experience our vision of a retirement village.”

Situated just a short drive from both Chalfont St Peter and neighbouring Gerrard’s Cross, Audley Chalfont Dene offers luxury retirement living on the doorstep of some of the South East’s most beautiful countryside, and near rail links which reach central London in just 20 minutes.
