The village will comprise of 106 apartments and 20 cottages, all built to complement the local Georgian architecture. It will also be home to the Audley Club, offering luxury facilities including a swimming pool, library, restaurant, bar/bistro and spa, all accessible to both owners and the neighbouring communities.

Nick Sanderson, CEO Audley Group, said: “We are immensely proud to unveil Audley Redwood to our new owners and the surrounding community. Sitting on such a stunning site, so close to the vibrant Bristol city centre, the village offers our owners the best of both worlds.

“For those wanting to downsize into a smaller property, retirement villages allow them to make the most of their independence with the knowledge that care is there should they need it. We need more aspirational retirement properties as our population ages, and they should be homes their owners can be proud of.”

The Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP said: “It was an honour to officially open Audley Redwood and it is unbelievable that it has been two years since the ground-breaking. This is truly a phenomenal facility; a beacon for the type of care that we want to have in the future.

What’s important is that it is not simply about being older, it is about not noticing you are older because of all the opportunities to have a very fulfilling lifestyle and that is what is
provided here.

“I am amazed at the quality of the village, and it has brought a jewel into this part of the country. The dedication, the quality of the interiors and the artwork is a real testament to
all those who have been involved, and I would like to welcome Nick Sanderson and the Audley team into our community. I’m sure the new property owners will be very happy living here.”

Audley Redwood welcomed its first owners in winter 2017 following the completion of the first phase of development. Properties in phase two are now available to view, offering a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and cottages.
